A film version of a play Fassbinder directed in Hamburg, Clare Booth Luce's The Women. It gave Fassbinder an opportunity to indulge his passion for working with women - there are forty women in the play and no men. The play dates from the 1930s, and Fassbinder was accused by the critics of being anti-women (a frequent criticism of late). 戏剧张力贯彻始终，几场戏教人拍案叫绝。好看全程无尿点，两位影帝正常发挥，谈判专家身份反转成为谈判对象，这个设定本就把戏剧冲突拉满！
